I have bet on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
