I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 wager
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
