I have gambled on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
