I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at 21. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
