I have gambled on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a few days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
