I have played millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you witness gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
