I have wagered on countless of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
